An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore

An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary film produced in 2006 which is about climate change. It is headed by the former Vice President f the United States Al Gore. He discusses on the documentary film the current situation of the environment in all parts of the world and the effect of global warming. The main concern of the film is to educate and inform the public about the status of the environment and how it can be resolved. Gore provided insights and scientific data on proving his thought and the other  inconvenient  findings of other scientists which contribute to the knowledge base of the environmental problem.

Additionally, Al Gore also discussed the possible solutions and steps that humanity should take in order to drastically lessen the effect of climate change and reverse the harm done. Generally, Gore presented an holistic approach to each problem which relies in the integration, exchange, and threat of each ecosystem environment. This means that in order to manage the harmful effects of climate change, ecosystem level changes needs to be done. First, the proepr recognition of the threat should be made. Al Gore states that each individual, community and government body should step up to recognize each threat and not  belittle  it. Furthermore, Al Gore mentioned that the solutions that we have right now to climate change lacks integration. He tells that the lack of cooperation between units cause this problem and it doesnt help out to solve the issues. The solution that he suggest is the use of a pyramid of solutions which consists of integration, exchange and threat.

The utilization of integration means that in order to solve the global warming crisis, various techniques should be molded together into on approach. Gore states that the solution today doesnt offer cohesion and lacks fluidity thereby limiting the amount of success. Solutions today offer  cure  and not prevention. Additionally, Gore discussed that role of recognizing the environment on an ecosystem level and try to understand the needs of it before going in. As part of the pyramid of solutions, Gore suggests that the knowledge base should be ramped up and consistent exchange and sharing of knowledge between countries should be done. This will strengthen the global perspective on battling climate change. He mentioned that most of the time, scientists  hide  their knowledge from others and this means that development of solutions will slow down. Therefore, Gore suggest a constant exchange of information between and among countires, organizations and agencies.

Lastly, Al Gore pointed out that in order to solve a problem, we need to communicate. Part of this communication process mean that we need to identify and accept that there is indeed a crucial threat in our world today. Recognition of threat mean accepting the problem and if we accept the global warming problem we will be better equipped in solving the issue. Overall, an interplay of integration, exchange and threat should be done to reverse the effect of climate change.
